TRAVELOGUE LECTURE
Rožle Bregar, filmmaker and adventurer who has spent more than a decade exploring the Arctic, returns with his talk “Greenland: Life on the Edge of Ice.” This is not a classic travel lecture, but an invitation to the edge of the world – to a place where silence, ice, and wind write stories across endless white landscapes, where time loses its meaning.
Crossing icy labyrinths by sailboat and dog sled, discovering wild and remote corners, living with Inuit hunters who carry within them the ancient knowledge of survival known only to nature itself. This is just a brief introduction to an unforgettable evening.
This is a story about courage, silence, and the beauty of a world disappearing before our eyes – and about why, there on the far north, we find the greatest abundance of life on one side, and an uncertain future on the other.
