Path of the Lynx

This documentary film documents the 1973 Eurasian lynx reintroduction efforts in former-Yugoslavia, when a small group of dedicated and passionate hunters decided to bring six lynx to the Kočevje forests after 65 years of being extinct. Today, exactly 45 years after that initial reintroduction, many of the key actors are still alive. We bring their story to life and carefully document this amazing and unique part of Slovenian history.
